Joseph karaki is the President and Founder of WESTERN STATES Engineering, Inc. / KARAKI WS, a Design-Build and Development Company, specializing in Commercial, Industrial and Retail Fueling Facilities for major oil companies.
KWS was established in 1996 and is a mid-sized company by choice. KWS is big enough to offer all Design/Build services, yet small enough to provide personal attention to all clients. It has earned a reputation for excellence as a result of building quality, attractive and cost efficient facilities, on time and on budget.
Joseph Karaki served on the City of Anaheim Planning Commission for 8 years, as the Chairman and Commissioner. He is also, an accomplished designer, the winner of Laguna Beach Architectural Guild Award, 1996
Currently, Joseph Karaki serves on the Executive Committee of the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, along with Disneyland, The Angels’ rep and other major corporations within the city of Anaheim.
Joseph Karaki is also one of the co-founders and is the President of the Lebanese American Foundation, House of Lebanon, a non-profit cultural organization located in Los Angeles.
Mr. Karaki is an active member of the American Lebanese community in Southern California and the community at large. He serves and volunteers his time and resources for different organizations involved in the welfare of unfortunate children and the needy. He helps raise funds for different Non Profit organizations in the Orange and LA County Area.
Joseph Karaki attended University of Detroit, University of Michigan, earned a BS, BA and MA, in Architecture and Construction Management. He is an AAIA member.
