Public Affairs, LLC is a statewide trade association
of independent petroleum marketers and convenience store owners
who purchase refined petroleum products such as gasoline and
diesel fuel from a supplier, usually a major oil company or
independent refiner, and then resell the products at the wholesale
and/or retail level. Independent marketers are also referred
to as "jobbers" or "distributors." i3
Public Affairs, LLC members sell more than
400 million gallons of gasoline, diesel and heating fuels annually
in the State. They own and operate more than 175 C-stores in
Nevada with sales in excess of 1 million dollars. These Nevada
family-owned small businesses employ more than 800 people with
