The ABC's of Hydrogen Fuel
Thursday, Sept. 5 | 3:45pm-4:45pm

Presented by Keith Malone, James Kast, and Steven Brooks
California is a global leader in the roll out of fuel cell cars, buses and trucks, with more than 7,000 vehicles on the road. The Golden State has 40 retail and 3 transit hydrogen stations in operation, and 24 light-duty, 2 transit and 3 heavy-duty stations in development. A hydrogen station funding opportunity is expected to be released in the near future, helping California reach the 100 station milestone.
Coupled with the recent implementation of the Low Carbon Fuel Standard credit for hydrogen fueling infrastructure, further growth is expected. This session will focus on the state of the hydrogen fueling network, including light and heavy duty stations, and the status of fuel cell vehicles here and across the globe. The session will also explore the benefits of hosting a hydrogen station, and the experiences of one c-store owner who hosts a hydrogen station.
